Active member
A member is an Active of the association if he participated in establishing the association, or joined it after its establishment and the Board of Directors accepts his active membership, and he is a specialist, interested, practitioner, or supporter of spreading the noble message of the association.
Benefits available to the working member
An active member can
- Participate in the activities of the members working in the association.
Reviewing the association’s documents, papers, and all decisions issued by the association, whether by the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, the General Director, or others. - Review the association’s balance sheet and its attachments at the association’s headquarters and sufficiently before presenting it to the General Assembly.
- Attending general assembly meetings.
- Candidacy for membership in the Board of Directors if he is over 21 years old, and the nomination conditions apply to him.
- Vote on the decisions of the General Assembly if 6 months have passed from the date of joining the Assembly.
- Receive information about the association’s activities periodically
- Review the minutes and financial documents at the association’s headquarters
- The working member has the right to address the association via the means used in the association (e-mail), and the Board of Directors must respond to the working member by the same means or via his address registered in the membership register.
- An active member has the right to authorize others to act on his behalf in attending the General Assembly and voting on its decisions, provided that the delegate is an active member of the Assembly.
To join the working membership
(For Saudis only)
- Paying the association’s working member fees (1,000 riyals) is one thousand Saudi riyals annually.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old.
- All conditions specified by the National Associations and Institutions Law and its executive regulations are met.
- Commitment to all decisions of the General Assembly.
- Not to do anything that might harm the association.
- Cooperating with the association and its employees to achieve its goals and implement its executive decisions.
- He must be fully qualified to carry out the duties of an active member.
- Be of good conduct.
- The Saudi Society for the Welfare of Animals (Rafq) has the right to update/amend the terms and conditions and all members must adhere to them. Members will be notified by email.
