The goals
- Spreading the spirit of compassion and benevolence for the living beings in the community
- Raising awareness of the importance of animal welfare in all aspects of life, and demonstrating its direct connection to Islamic values.
- Finding solutions with regard to stray animals, and working to limit their spread within the urban area using humane means.
- Rehabilitation and domestication of stray animals, and then put them up for adoption
- Providing medical services and necessary care for stray animals.
- Communicate with animal welfare societies at the regional and international levels in all fields and fields
- Training and development of those interested in all aspects related to stray animals.
- Working with relevant government and private agencies; To develop solutions to the difficulties and obstacles that stand in the way of animal welfare in all sectors, and to provide relevant consultations.
- Representing the Kingdom internationally in animal welfare forums
- Cooperation with relevant government agencies; To set the frameworks of
- cooperation between it and the association with regard to the animal – each according to his specialization
- Dissemination of the Society’s lofty message in the media, religiously and humanely
- Working to spread awareness among children in schools and other educational establishments; In order to create a conscious next generation
- Contribute to the enactment of regulatory and penal regulations that guarantee humane coexistence with animals.
- Holding an international conference for animal welfare, to introduce the rich biodiversity in the Kingdom (to be held periodically)
- Establishment of shelters for stray animals, which cannot live in the wild without assistance
- Receiving smuggled animals to the Saudi borders, after they have been seized by the competent authorities.
- Contribute to the implementation of the CITES Convention, for endangered animals, to which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is internationally committed
- Establishing and activating the ‘Knowledge Dome’, which aims to be a live awareness laboratory for visitors, by displaying mummified organisms and their role in the ecological balance
